The Village Centre will create a new town heart in Palm Cove.

The architecture of The Village Centre has been inspired by the quintessential villages of the world – Italy’s Cinque Terra or the Mexican Riviera’s Puerto Vallarta – creating an ‘old town’ centre with paved pedestrian laneways linking individual shops, sun-drenched piazzas, covered cloistered walkways and huge urn fountains.

The Village Centre is surrounded by rainforest, creeks and over 3 kilometres of boardwalks and bicycle tracks with a direct pedestrian link onto Palm Cove beach...

The main feature of The Village Centre is the Village Square. With its huge central feature fountain some 7 metres in diameter and 3 metres tall, the Village Square is not only the meeting space of The Village, but also designed as the venue for main concerts.

With four restaurants fronting the Village Square and seating over 400 diners, the cobblestone square will be a hive of activity by day and night.

The cooling sounds of the urn water fountain by the heat of the day is brought to life at night as they become gas flamed cauldrons of fire dancing on the water and lighting the walls of the buildings surrounding the Village Square, providing a truly romantic atmosphere.
